Let's talk BIG PICTURE and what is really going on with our tweens and teens in puberty.

They are naturally cycling through three phases: expansion, contraction and rebirth. In each of these phases we will see different behaviors and some of these phases we may like more than others. Does anyone really like the pushing away, grunting, attitude? Not really.

AND

What I know is that THEY HAVE TO GO THROUGH ALL THE CYCLE PHASES to continue to grow. To form a strong foundation so that they will come out of this phase as functioning adults.

It's SO helpful for us to see the big picture, especially in the moments of suck, so that we can parent from a place of WHOLENESS and honoring of their growth.

This podcast goes into depth on what these phases look like and how to shift our perspective to the bigger picture.
